Creator Advertising & Promotion Policy

Introduction

This Creator Advertising & Promotion Policy (“Policy”) outlines the rules for how Fantra Creators may advertise and promote their Fantra profiles and content outside of the platform. It is designed to protect our community, comply with legal standards, and maintain alignment with Fantra’s Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service. By engaging in any external promotion of your Fantra content, you agree to follow this Policy in addition to all other Fantra policies. In case of any conflict, this Policy will prevail for matters specifically related to advertising and promotion. All capitalised terms here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service or other Fantra policies unless otherwise defined.

Definitions

For clarity, here are key definitions related to this document.

  • Promotion means any external activity that publicises a Creator profile or content

  • External Platform means a site, app, or service that is not operated by Fantra

  • Misleading Conduct means any statement or practice that is false, deceptive, or likely to confuse

  • Age Gating means clear eighteen plus labelling and steps to avoid exposure to minors

  • Spam means unsolicited or bulk promotional messages or links

  • Referral Link means a unique link issued by Fantra for the Referral Program

  • Affiliate Link means a link issued by Fantra that credits a Creator for promoting another Creator

  • Sponsored Content means content created in exchange for value that must be clearly disclosed

Allowed Promotion of Fantra Content

Creators may promote their own Fantra profiles and content externally in appropriate ways:

  • Permissible Channels: You can share or advertise your Fantra profile and content on your personal social media accounts, blogs, websites, or other platforms you have rights to use, provided that such promotion complies with both Fantra’s rules and the third-party platform’s terms of service. For example, if a social network prohibits adult content or links, you must obey those rules when advertising your Fantra page.

  • Content of Promotion: Your external promotions should focus on your Fantra profile or Fantra-hosted content. It is allowed to post teaser images, watermarked clips, or descriptions to attract followers to your Fantra, as long as those teasers themselves do not violate any platform’s standards (e.g. use only Safe-For-Work previews on sites that don’t allow nudity). Make sure any preview or description accurately represents your content – honesty is crucial. Misleading promotions (e.g. promising content that you do not actually offer) are prohibited as fraudulent conduct.

  • Use of Fantra Branding: You may reference that you are a Fantra Creator and invite people to visit your Fantra page. However, you must not use Fantra’s name, logo, or branding in a way that suggests an official partnership or endorsement that does not exist. For instance, do not say you are “affiliated with” or “endorsed by” Fantra (unless you have written permission), and do not impersonate Fantra staff when promoting yourself. (See Prohibited Practices below for more on impersonation.)

  • External Fantra Links: You are welcome to post your Fantra profile link or content links in your promotional posts. Be mindful to avoid spammy behaviour – share links in contexts where it’s welcome (e.g. on your own pages or in relevant discussions) and avoid unsolicited mass-posting of your Fantra link in comments or forums where it’s off-topic. Always adhere to any site-specific rules about posting adult site links.

Prohibited Promotional Practices

Creators are strictly forbidden from engaging in deceptive, unlawful, or abusive advertising methods. When promoting your Fantra content or profile, you must NOT do any of the following:

  • Impersonation and False Affiliation: Do not impersonate anyone while promoting, and do not present yourself as an official Fantra representative or someone you are not. This includes not creating fake “Fantra” accounts on other platforms or using names/handles that could confuse users into thinking your promotion is coming from Fantra itself. You also must not falsely claim that any person or brand endorses you if they do not.

  • Spam and Unsolicited Advertising: Mass messaging or tagging people who did not ask for info, posting your Fantra link repeatedly in unrelated comment sections, or using automated bots to advertise is prohibited. Unsolicited “spam” promotion not only frustrates others but violates our rules. You may not send unwanted emails or DMs about your Fantra to people you don’t know, and you may never use Fantra’s own platform to advertise external services or websites (Fantra is not a traffic funnel for other sites).

  • Underage Targeting: Do not target or expose minors to your advertising. All Fantra content is 18+; thus, you must not promote your profile in places primarily frequented by under-18 audiences. For example, do not post your Fantra links in forums, groups, or sites aimed at children/teens, and do not use advertising mediums likely to reach minors (such as buying ad space on websites known for underage users). Fantra itself does not market to minors and requires age-gating, and we expect the same of our creators. Any attempt to knowingly engage minors through promotion is grounds for immediate termination and reporting to authorities.

  • Misleading or Inaccurate Previews: Any preview content or promotional material you share must not misrepresent what a user will find on your Fantra. Do not use heavily edited or different images to “bait” users under false pretences. Similarly, never use someone else’s work or likeness in your ads without permission(e.g. don’t use a famous model’s photo implying they are on your Fantra). Such deceptive advertising is a form of fraud and will not be tolerated.

  • Prohibited Advertising Channels: You may not use advertising networks or methods that violate law or platform rules. For instance, do not run paid ads on Google, Facebook, or other platforms that ban adult services – this can lead to account bans and reflects poorly on Fantra. Likewise, do not pay for shoutouts or promotions on platforms in ways that break those platforms’ policies. It is your responsibility to ensure any paid promotion or cross-promotion you engage in is allowed by the third party. If it isn’t allowed, don’t do it.

  • Scams or Malicious Links: Obviously, all promotional material must be free of malware, phishing, or any malicious content. You must not deceive users into clicking your Fantra link by hiding it behind unrelated or false claims, nor use your Fantra profile as a front to scam people. Any fraudulent advertising or scam attempt will result in severe action, including potential loss of your account and earnings.

Required Disclaimers and Age-Gating

Because Fantra deals with adult-oriented, AI-generated content, creators have a responsibility to include appropriate disclaimers and ensure audience awareness when promoting. The following guidelines must be observed in your promotions:

  • “18+” Labels: When posting or sharing links to your Fantra content on external platforms, clearly indicate that it is adult content if the context isn’t already obvious. For example, it is good practice to add a disclaimer like “🔞 18+ Only” or mark your post as sensitive/NSFW where the platform allows. This helps prevent accidental exposure to underage or unwilling viewers. Many social sites have features to mark content as adult – use them. Creators are expected to gate their promotional content so that only adults engage with it, consistent with Fantra’s own age restrictions.

  • AI-Generated Content Disclosure: Fantra’s content is entirely AI-generated, and while Fantra users understand that people outside might not. If you share Fantra-generated images or stories on external forums or social media, be transparent that it’s AI-generated to avoid confusion or misinformation. For instance, you can caption images with “#AIArt” or mention in text that “these characters are AI-generated and fictional.” This honesty builds trust and ensures you’re not inadvertently misleading others to think any depicted individuals are real.

  • Sponsored Content Disclosure: (Relevant for future brand collaborations – see below.) If you ever post content off-Fantra that involves a paid partnership (for example, if in the future you collaborate with a brand or promote another creator for a commission), you must follow all applicable advertising laws about disclosure. This typically means clearly tagging the post as “#ad”, “#sponsored”, or an equivalent clear label. Even if not required by law in your region, Fantra requires transparency with your audience. We want fans to know when they are seeing genuine content versus an advertisement.

  • Accuracy and Truthfulness: All statements you make in your promotional materials must be truthful and not misleading. Do not exaggerate the nature of your Fantra content in a way that could mislead (e.g., claiming content is “uncensored” or “exclusive” if it’s not, or that a limited offer is ending if it isn’t). Similarly, if you mention pricing or availability, ensure its correct. False advertising not only erodes fan trust; it’s against consumer protection laws and Fantra policy. Keep your advertising honest and in good faith.

Referral and Affiliate Programs

Fantra may offer opportunities for Creators to earn rewards by promoting the platform or other creators, such as a Referral Program and a Creator Affiliate Program. When participating in these programs, you must adhere to both this Policy and the specific Referral & Affiliate Program Terms (which are incorporated by reference into this Policy and the Creator Agreement). Key points include:

  • Referral Links: Fantra’s referral program (if active) lets you invite new creators or users to Fantra using a unique link. If you are given a referral link, you may share it externally in compliance with all the rules above. Do not spam referral links or post them where they’re not welcome. You must not mislead people about what the link is – it should be clear that you’re inviting them to Fantra. Any abuse of referral links (such as self-referring, creating fake accounts, or misleading users to sign up just for bonuses) is a violation that can result in losing your referral commissions and other penalties. The Referral Program Terms will detail the commission structure (e.g. a percentage of referred creator earnings for a period) – abide by those limits and rules.

  • Affiliate Promotions: In the future, Fantra may enable creators to act as affiliates for each other, meaning you could earn a commission for promoting another creator’s Fantra profile (with their agreement). If we launch this affiliate program, it will similarly be governed by the Referral & Affiliate Program Terms. You must only use official affiliate links or codes provided by Fantra to track these promotions. As with referrals, honesty is paramount: disclose affiliate posts as such (e.g. “I earn from fans who join [Creator] via my link”) and never deceive fans about your relationship. Colluding with other creators to game the affiliate system (for example, circularly subscribing to each other just to earn affiliate payouts) is strictly forbidden.

  • No Unauthorised Coupons or Kickbacks: Currently, Fantra does not support creator-generated coupon codes or off-platform discounts. Until an official system is introduced, you may not offer “secret” discounts or perks to entice users unless it’s via built-in Fantra features. If Fantra in future provides tools like promo codes or limited-time discounts for subscriptions, you must use them as intended and not in any abusive manner (e.g. do not publicly post a personal one-use coupon meant for a specific fan, etc.). All promotional offers must be fair and in line with any guidelines we issue at that time.

Future updates: When these referral/affiliate features are available, Fantra will update creators on the specific terms. Always review the Referral & Affiliate Program Terms document for the authoritative rules on commissions, durations, caps, and prohibited conduct, we expect you to comply with those detailed rules . Violations of the referral or affiliate rules can result in loss of bonuses and even account action.

Brand Collaborations and Sponsored Content (Future)

At launch, Fantra does not allow creators to include third-party advertisements or product placements in their Fantra content, all content on Fantra must be for personal creative expression, not commercials. However, we recognise that in the future, creators might have opportunities to work with brands or create sponsored content. If and when Fantra permits brand collaborations on the platform, the following will apply:

  • Approval & Guidelines: Creators will likely need to obtain Fantra’s prior approval before posting any sponsored or branded content within Fantra. We will issue specific guidelines listing what categories of advertising will be allowed. Certain industries will remain off-limits (for example, promotion of illegal products or services will never be allowed, and any sponsorship must still comply with Acceptable Use content rules) . Fantra will prohibitads for anything that would violate our standards – e.g. no ads for tobacco, unlawful gambling, drugs, or any adult content outside Fantra itself, in line with mainstream norms.

  • Transparency: As noted in “Required Disclaimers,” any on-platform sponsored content must be conspicuously labelled as such. Creators will be required to use an #ad, #sponsored, or similar tag in the content title or description, and identify the sponsor/brand involved. We may provide tools to mark a post as “Paid Promotion” – use them. Fans should immediately recognise that a post is an advertisement. Hidden ads or surreptitious product plugs are not acceptable.

  • Maintaining Trust: Even with sponsorships, creators must not mislead their audience. Any claims you make about a product or service you’re advertising should be truthful (e.g. don’t make false performance claims about a product). And you cannot imply Fantra’s endorsement of the brand – you are speaking for yourself, not Fantra. If a brand deal requires you to do something that would breach Fantra’s policies or ethics, don’t do it. Fantra’s rules still apply fully to sponsored content (for example, you couldn’t suddenly include real human nudity or other forbidden material under the excuse of a “brand collaboration”).

Note: Until we announce otherwise, assume that sponsored/brand content is not allowed on Fantra. Focus on building your personal brand and content. When brand partnerships become possible, this Policy will be updated with full details, and creators will be notified of the new opportunities and responsibilities.

Enforcement of Advertising Rules

Violations of these advertising and promotion rules will be dealt with seriously. Fantra’s moderation and enforcement actions for promotional misconduct are aligned with our overall moderation policies and the Creator Agreement’s enforcement provisions. This means:

  • Content Removal or Requests: If your external promotion violates this Policy (for example, using our logo without permission or posting explicit previews on a no-nudity site), we may ask you to take it down. If the violation also impacts content on Fantra (say, you uploaded a sponsored post without approval), we may remove or disable that content. In cases of impersonation or brand misuse, we may issue cease-and-desist notices or take over misleading domains/accounts (e.g. if you created a website using Fantra’s name) to protect our brand.

  • Warnings and Suspensions: For first-time or minor breaches of the promotion rules, Fantra will usually issue a warning and educate you on the correct procedure. You will be expected to rectify the issue immediately. Repeated or more serious violations (such as a spam campaign or a deliberate attempt to target minors) may result in a temporary account suspension. During suspension, you will not be able to access or use your Fantra account, just as with other policy violations.

  • Account Termination: Egregious or persistent failure to comply with this Policy can lead to permanent termination of your creator account. Examples include continually spamming or scamming users despite warnings, causing harm to Fantra’s reputation by associating it with illegal promotions, or any involvement of minors in your advertising efforts. If your account is terminated, you are barred from creating another account, and we may block you from the platform entirely.

  • Forfeiture of Earnings: As stated in the Terms and Creator Agreement, you are not entitled to keep earnings derived from wrongdoing. If your violation of these advertising rules results in financial gain (for instance, you acquired subscribers through a fraudulent promotion or a prohibited affiliate scheme), Fantra reserves the right to withhold or confiscate those earnings to the extent permissible by law. We may also claw back referral bonuses obtained through abusive tactics (per the Referral Terms). This is to disincentivise malicious behaviour and ensure no one profits from breaking the rules.

  • Payout Freezes: In line with our Content Moderation and payout policies, Fantra may temporarily freeze your payouts if we are investigating promotional misconduct. For example, if we suspect you engaged in referral fraud or a promotion that brings legal risk, we might place a hold on your Creator Balance while we review. This hold is to prevent funds from being withdrawn before an issue is resolved. If the investigation clears you, funds will be released; if not, those funds may be forfeited as described above.

  • Reporting and Cooperation: We encourage our community to report any creator’s advertising activities that appear to violate this Policy or put others at risk. If we receive credible reports (e.g. evidence of a creator spamming or targeting minors externally), we will act on it. Creators are expected to cooperate with Fantra’s inquiries into promotional practices—failure to respond or attempting to cover up misconduct can aggravate penalties. In cases where unlawful activity is involved (such as child exploitation or fraud), Fantra will report the matter to law enforcement and fully cooperate with investigations.

  • Appeal Process: If you believe an action taken for a supposed advertising violation is in error, you may file an appeal under our Complaints/Appeals procedure (once established). Fantra will review your case. However, please note that blatant violations (for example, evidence of intentionally contacting minors) are generally not eligible for appeal. During any appeal review, your account may remain restricted for safety.

Future Updates

Fantra may update or amend this Creator Advertising & Promotion Policy as our platform and marketing features evolve. We will post any changes in the Legal/Policies section of our site with an updated “Last Updated” date. In case of significant changes (for example, introducing a new affiliate program or allowing on-platform sponsorships), we will notify creators via email or dashboard announcement. Continued promotion of your Fantra content after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised rules. If you ever have questions about what is allowed in terms of advertising or need clarification on this Policy, please contact Fantra support before proceeding. We’re here to help you safely and successfully promote your content within the bounds of the rules.

By promoting your Fantra profile or content externally, you acknowledge and agree to comply with this Policy. Responsible promotion benefits everyone – it helps you grow your fanbase while keeping our community safe and reputable. Thank you for helping uphold Fantra’s standards as you share your creative work with the world.
